Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA)

A 67 year-old woman with prominent lower extremity swelling and prominent varicose veins. A markedly dilated varicose vein around the ankle was particularly painful for her, throbbing by midday each day and impacting her lifestyle and mobility. By the end of the day each day, she typically had pitting edema (swelling of the calf so prominent that the skin stays indented after pressing it briefly). She also felt embarrassed at the appearance of the varicose veins around her calf. She underwent an endovenous laser ablation of her greater saphenous vein, followed 4 weeks later by Clarivein ablation of her lesser saphenous vein. During the procedure, all varicosities were noted to decompress. The post-procedure image is taken at 1 week after the 2nd procedure. The swelling in her leg was cured and the varicose veins were gone. She spent approximately 90 minutes in our office each visit and resumed her normal activities the next day. Excel V Treatment for Facial Spider Veins

A 70 year-old male with prominent telangectasias (spider veins) of the nasal ala. We treated him with VeinwaveTM one session for a total treatment time of 15 minutes.
